Voss Park Campground

Voss Park is mostly known as the home of the Butterfield Threshing Bee, but that's not the only thing happening at the park. Butterfield Summer Sizzler, family reunions, birthday parties, church services, and many other celebrations happen at the park. Voss Park has something for everyone; a walking path around the lake, playground for children, various benches to sit and enjoy the scenery, and a wonderful campground.

The campground has many camp sites, some with electrical and water hookups and others with no modern conveniences. Voss Park campground is known for turning into a small community of its own. There are group potlucks, Fourth of July party, and weekend activities, like bean bag tournaments,  where young and old are encouraged to join the fun.  Planning is under way for this year's activities so when you're enjoying your stay at the park keep an eye out for Rosie, she'll keep you up to date on the festivities.

Golf carts and other non-road licensed vehicles are allowed in the campground but must have a city permit. These permits are $15 and are available to you with proof of insurance when you register.

To help prevent the Emerald Ash Borer from infecting the many trees in the park, firewood is available for purchase.
